Whiz Kid Games was founded by Heather Watherston and was inspired by educational games she created for her children as they were growing up.

She believes that children learn best while playing and, as well as teaching children more about subjects such as animals, general knowledge and lateral thinking, the Go Genius games help get children off their tech while building life skills like focus, confidence and persistence.

Heather was formerly an owner and Managing Director of The Lagoon Group and a former Director of Green Board Games, bringing a wealth of experience and insight into the development of the brand.

Educational Games Designed for Learning and Play

The Go Genius range combines eye-catching graphics, engaging gameplay and educational content designed to support Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 learning. These educational board games for children are created to make learning feel natural, enjoyable and rewarding.

Each game includes multiple-choice questions across three difficulty levels, ensuring children of different ages, abilities and learning styles can play together. Whether playing with siblings, friends or in a classroom setting, every child can take part and feel included.

To keep children motivated, players earn “genius stamps” for their “Go Genius passports”, which are included within each game for children to personalise and build over time. With space to collect multiple stamps in each passport, the games encourage continued learning, repeat play and ongoing engagement with the range.
